The famous Pakistani journalist Chand Nawab is selling his viral video as an NFT with an opening bid of 20ETH which is equal to $66,973 or 11,166,730 PKR. In the piece to camera clip, the reported (Chand Nawab) is trying to say the lines “Karachi se log apnon mein Eid manane ke liye androoni mulk jaa rahe hain. Cameraman Kamil Yusuf ke saath, Chand Nawab, Indus News, Karachi.” and is constantly being interrupted by the bypassers.
For the unacquainted, NFT refers to Non-Fungible Token and “non-fungible” here means one-of-a-kind or unique. NFTs are digital codes that are linked to blockchain technology and are assigned a unique internet address that is not used more than once. It is almost like buying a plot of land, but digital. Most of the NFTs are hosted on the Ethereum Blockchain and are sold on marketplaces such as Open Sea, Foundation, and Rarible.
